Remembering a Pioneer

Hematologist J. Evan Sadler, MD, PhD, a world-renowned expert in the study and treatment of blood clotting disorders and director of the Division of Hematology at Washington University School of Medicine in St. Louis, died Thursday, Dec. 13, at his home in Clayton, Mo., following a brief illness. He was 67.

His contributions will live on. He was a integral part of the development and success of the USTMA Consortium.
